As the owner and operator of Exotic Fish Shop I would like to introduce myself and provide a brief history.

My interest in fish started at the age of 13 as a hobby. My hobby became my passion and developed into my career. I opened my first retail aquarium store at the age of 18. At age 20 I entered into wholesaling both freshwater and saltwater fish. At age 22 I held the only Restricted Species License in the retail industry.

For 30 years I have been involved in retail, wholesale and importing tropical fish from all over the world. Over the years I have been increasingly aware of the lack of quality fish available in the retail market. This has propelled me into the online arena.

Due to my personal interest in both freshwater and saltwater fish I have gained a great deal of knowledge of their care. In addition I have always enjoyed learning about fish and their habitat.

Shipping unique, healthy fish all over the country is a challenge. Perfecting a safe method of shipping has been my passion.  I guarantee their safe arrival in all weather conditions.
